Tucker

Tucker is a well-meaning sixth-grader with a knack for getting in over his head. With big questions, goofy friends, and an unshakable sense of curiosity, Tucker’s always learning—usually the hard way.

From school disasters to faith discoveries, his adventures blend humor with heart and just enough chaos to keep things interesting.

This is the official site of Tucker Barnes, an original comic series by Randy Fishell.

  • Funny, witty, goofy, and Bible-based—all in one, LOVE IT

What a fun book to read! This book has it all. Besides engaging cartoons and graphics on each page, the story of Tucker's adventures kept those pages turning! The author weaves funny situations, witty dialog, goofy humor, and spiritual themes all into one. I also appreciate the author addressing the topic of 'fear' since it's very relevant for kids today with so much uncertainty in the world.

  • A Perfect Book for Kids

What an incredible blessing this book was to me. I work with kids as a community mental health counselor and advocate/mentor. This book is perfect for them! I'm excited about the balance between practical Christianity, humor, and common sense. Randy, thank you for writing (and drawing) such a wonderful resource!

  • You can't put this Tucker Barnes book down—That's a good thing

Tucker is a fun middle-school boy who likes hanging out with his friends. In this book, Tucker is in the summer swimming class. Will he conquer his fear of the pool's deep end? You have to get the book to find out. He tries getting used to being underwater in the bathtub first. The story in this 195-page book is easy to read and full of hilarious comic drawings. It will help your child understand that everyone faces fear, and with God's help, they can overcome it. The book does have Biblical content and reminds us of stories like a king who was scared of the crowd. My 12-year-old daughter read 162 pages in her first sitting, and I heard her laughing numerous times. We can't wait for the next Tucker Barnes adventure.

Tucker Digs in: DOES He HAVE A PRAYER OF KEEPING THE “TREASURE PIRATES” AT BAY?

by Randy Fishell (Author) – Paperback

A new metal detector leads Tucker Barnes and his pals on a wacky adventure that includes waking up to a trio of school bullies! Thanks to their sneaky ways, they’ve tracked Tucker and his friends to their secret treasure spot! Along the way, Tucker discovers there’s a lot more to treasure hunting—and prayer—than he realizes. Have you, like Tucker, ever wondered:

• Does God really hear and answer prayer?
• Is “being good” the key to getting answers to prayer requests?
• Are putting out “fleeces” to learn God’s plan a good idea?
• Do “impressions” always come from God?
• Is there more going on behind the scenes than we realize?

With its one–of–a–kind, kid–engaging humor, Tucker Digs In answers these questions and more while pointing kids to a deeper, more rewarding prayer life.
